AN EARLY CHILDHOOD MINISTRY FOR 3-5 YEAR OLDS
Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3-5 year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.
Preschoolers can hardly wait for their next Cubbies meeting. Whether it’s the fun puppets, the exciting games or all their Cubbies friends, they simply love it. At Story Time each week, preschoolers learn about God – the greatness of His love and His Word – and about His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Saviour. Non-competitive games build excitement and reinforce Story Time lesson themes.
There are two years of curriculum available: HoneyComb and AppleSeed.

APPLE ACRES
This is the Cubbies Entrance booklet. Start each year with this full colour booklet that presents the gospel clearly and sets the groundwork for Awana Cubbies.
APPLESEED HANDBOOK
After students complete the Apple Acres entrance booklet, they begin work in this fun new AppleSeed handbook — the heart of the Awana Cubbies program. Order one for each child.
TEACHING PLANS
Fully coordinated with the Awana Cubbies AppleSeed handbook, these plans give a wide variety of ideas for crafts, snacks, activities, songs and games.
TEACHING CARDS
Leaders will find three or more cards to coordinate with each Bear Hug lesson. Lessons and directions for using the teaching cards are in the Teaching Plans. Many of the same eye-catching images are replicated in the Cubbies handbook sections to reinforce learning.

CUBBIES AT HOME
There are two ways as a parent you can dive into discipleship. Following along with your kids as they work through their books with a church ministry or use the Awana books at home with your own kids. If your kids attend a church ministry, make sure you check out the weekly parent questions in the books. Our curriculum is focused on making sure parents have support as they journey in faith with their kids. If you’re looking to start a home study, you can do that as well. Simply order the books for your kids and get a leaders guide for yourself. It will give you everything you need to learn God’s word with your kids and grow in faith together. Remember, whether your kids go to a church ministry or you’re doing it at home, Awana is focused on the Gospel, Scripture Memory, Fun, Strong Leadership and Parent Partnership.
