Lise oversees the Awana in Quebec including in French, English and Spanish. She is responsible for the translation of material, church care, leader training, and ongoing leadership development. Lise has a passion for ministry in our own country but has also been instrumental in new club development opportunities in France.
With over 140 Awana partnered churches in Ontario from varying denominations and cultures, Rebekah’s role is busy. Each of our Awana partners has the same goal to reach kids with the Gospel and Rebekah ensures that they are equipped through resources and training. She is also a great help when it comes to various events and runs our Ontario online journey program.
Leigh joined the Awana International Canada team in 2017 as ministry lead for this large territory which includes 160 partnered churches. Leigh works with our team of Advocates and with the partnered churches in this territory as they strive to reach more kids with the gospel through long-term discipleship.
Dave works with the Awana Ontario team to serve churches in Northern and Eastern Ontario as they strive to reach children and youth with the Gospel of Christ. Dave works tirelessly to represent the Awana ministry, to serve local partnered churches as they develop solid youth ministries and to equip leaders through training.
Amy and I were born and raised in Hong Kong. Just a few words from our son Alan, during our visit to Vancouver some 20 years ago, ‘I like to study in Canada’, changed the lives of our whole family.

Kyle and Ruth Anne work to plan, promote, direct, train and recruit staff for the Awana Camps in Ontario. They also work with partner churches to organize events in Southwestern Ontario
Job is currently a part-time Advocate in BC but his skill set often makes him a valuable ministry resource across the country when it comes to website work and design projects. Job also works with the BC team and with partnered churches to organize and oversee regional Awana club events.
Gabriel is an Awana Advocate in British Columbia. This is a diverse region, both culturally and geographically, providing many opportunities to spread God’s word. Gabriel has served as an event volunteer and more recently as a summer intern. Gabriel’s focus will be on event organization and administration, camp and sports ministry development.
