2019-2020 International Missions Focus

    We're reaching kids in Venezuela

The ministry in Venezuela needs our help...Kids need to be fed and leaders need training!

Help us equip Awana Venezuela with the funds needed to multiply leaders through leader training and development and feed the kids that have been impacted by the national unrest.

    Why Venezuela?

Located in the northern region of South America, Venezuela is a country in the middle of a growing socioeconomic crisis that is affecting its entire population. Children, in particular, are at risk as many of the adults are leaving them behind in search of work and food. They are spiritually at risk as well since approximately 70% of the country’s Awana leaders have emigrated Venezuela leaving a serious deficit of leaders in what was previously a vibrant and growing ministry. Awana Canada will partner with local churches in Venezuela to provide both physical and spiritual relief during this time of crisis.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

    Colossians 3: 12, 17

    What can you do?
