Training sessions focused on the Core Values of Awana:
How to keep young people engaged in their faith long into their adult lives, how to engage families, how to focus your ministry efforts for maximum results.

These videos will be designed with the new church partner in mind. In these we will answer questions about setting up your club, ordering supplies, tips on partnering with parents.

This training will be offered to returning leaders who want to learn more about how to handle specific situations in your ministry; special needs, disruptive kids, engaging parents, recruiting leaders.

We will be focused on building out sessions, training and teaching that can be used by your leaders that is specific to Canada. These resources will be based on Canadian stats, reports and articles written by the Canadian team.

Many of our church partners have expressed some difficulty in blocking out enough time for a full or even half day training and as such our training options are often limited or rushed. Some of the training modules would lend themselves well to video and could be offered online for viewing at a leaders own pace. This would allow our Awana Trainers to focus on those topics that require onsite training, such as how to run game time and how to work with the curriculum in specific or unique circumstances.

Our team has a passion for equipping the local church as they develop effective children and youth ministries that grow the local church and support leaders in the faithful work they do.

Please help us equip leaders here in Canada to relationally disciple youth and journey with them in their faith formation.
