Join us this fall for NextGen – The Power of Partnership.
Partnership is at the heart of every great ministry. Great Awana ministries partner with children, families, the church and the Holy Spirit to share the gospel and see our communities changed.
Join us online at the NextGen Conference where you will be inspired and refreshed as you hear from other leaders and from God's word. Throughout the day you will be supported and challenged to partner with both the church and with families effectively.
“For you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 1:5-6 (NLT)
This year, our NextGen conference is moving online!
Hosted by your local Awana Ministry Team, NextGen will provide a uniquely inspiring experience focussed on inspiring and connecting you with other children’s and youth ministry leaders.
Each conference will be hosted ‘live’ here on the website but you can also set up your own ‘watch party’ as you gather together with your own Awana team to learn together. Like before, you’ll have access to a challenging and equipping keynote speaker, a great set of breakouts and opportunities to hear from your Awana Canada field team on the future direction of the Awana Ministry.
Keynote "The Power of Partnership" (Matt Schorr)
Session 1 "Seizing the Opportunity!" (Eric Provost)
Session 2 "It Takes a Church to Raise a Child" (Cory Vail)
Session 3 "Timothy's of Today, Paul's of Tomorrow" (Rebekah Bock)
Session 4 "Exploring Parent Partnership in Kids/Youth Ministry" (Leigh McGough)
Q: Can I access the conference materials after the 26th?
A: Yes, once you are registered for NextGEN you will have access to these videos and materials for the rest of the year, allowing you to be able to do your conference on the most convenient day/time for you and/or your leaders.
Q: Do I have to follow the schedule presented?
A: No, this is a suggested schedule, so though we may recommend doing the sessions in this order you are more than welcome to customize the schedule to fit your needs.
Q: What if I can’t join the Zoom Q&A on the 26th?
A: If you are not able to join the Zoom Q&A on the 26th it will be recorded, allowing you to be able to watch at your convenience. Though this means you won’t be able to ask your questions during the live call you can still contact us with any questions you may have anytime.
Q: If I run this for my leaders in person, do I have to set up multiple rooms for the break outs?
A: We know that breakouts have been run this way in the past, however our intent for these breakouts (because there are fewer than our live conferences) is that everyone would do them together. However, if you would like to do it the classic way you can!
